Dogs Are the Best!

Did you see that German Shepherd drag that criminal out of the white mini van? What a perfect ending to a police standoff on the freeways of Southern California.

Dogs are great. They are our partners in work and play. We should use their talents more often.

The police dog was sent in to drag the guy out after the cops had used a shock & gas grenade to stun him. That wonderful dog protected the SWAT team and the public by keeping the criminal's attention focused on the teeth and terror of a dog attack at a critical time in the take down. The scumbag criminal at the very end pointed a gun at an approaching officer and was shot. That stupid action proves the dog was instrumental in saving lives because the criminal showed that he was determined to hurt someone, somehow.
